§ 6.14.040. Distribution—License.

  • A.

    It is unlawful for any person to carry on, conduct, or engage in the business of distributing advertising matter, samples, dodgers, handbills, or other notices of commercial advertising in the city without first having obtained from the license collector a license to carry on and conduct such business.

    B.

    Every person carrying on, conducting or engaging in the business of distributing advertising samples, handbills, dodgers, circulars, booklets, or other notices of commercial advertising in the city shall pay for such license the sum of five dollars per quarter, in advance.

    C.

    The license fee specified in subsection B of this section shall be construed to apply to each and every person distributing or authorizing the distribution of such advertising matter, handbills, circulars, and other notices of commercial advertising.
