§ 2.08.040. Official bonds—City clerk and finance director.

  • The following officers of the city shall execute and file with the city bonds for the faithful performance of the duties of the respective offices in the penal sum set opposite their names. Such bonds shall be executed by a surety company duly authorized to do business within the State of California. The surety bond for the city clerk shall also include and encompass activities by any deputy city clerk appointed by the city clerk.

    City Clerk: Ten thousand dollars.
    City Finance Officer: Fifty thousand dollars.
