All other employees of the city whose duties call upon them to handle public moneys,
or other moneys belonging to the city shall be bonded under a blanket bond to be issued
by a surety company duly authorized to transact a surety business in the State of
California in the penal sum of ten thousand dollars. The employees to be so bonded
shall include, but not be limited to, the manager of the water department and all
his deputies or assistants, the city manager, the chief of police and all employees
of the police department whose duties require them to accept money for and on behalf
of the city, the building inspector and his assistants, and all department heads of
the city whose duties require them at any time to handle public moneys or other moneys
belonging to the city.
