§ 6.25.190. Noise level.

    Horns shall be permitted to be used only when reasonably necessary to insure the safe operation of the food vending vehicle while being operated on any public or private street, alley or highway or on public property.

    B.

    Food vending vehicles authorized under this chapter, when utilizing amplified sound as a method of advertising, may only use such amplified sound on residential streets with a prima facia speed limit, posted or otherwise, of twenty-five miles per hour, and only when in compliance with all other applicable sections of this chapter and the California Vehicle Code. Streets that have not been posted with a regulated traffic speed sign shall be deemed to have a prima facia speed limit of twenty-five miles per hour.
