§ 2.16.040. Financial, accounting or licensing duties.

In all ordinances, resolutions and sections of the Delano City Code where the word
"city clerk," "clerk," "city treasurer," or "treasurer" are used pertaining to any
finance or accounting duties, or to the issuance of any licenses or permits, or the
collection of any fees, the words shall be read and construed to mean "director of
finance" and to that extent all said ordinances, resolutions and sections of the Delano
City Code are amended to read as if the term "director of finance" were used.
Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to be a transfer of the statutory functions
of the city clerk to the director of finance except as specifically set forth in this
chapter. All statutory functions of the city treasurer shall be performed by the director
of finance.
