§ 14.24.010. Adoption of code.

  • That portion of the 2001 California Fire Code that imposes substantially the same requirements as are contained in the Uniform Fire Code 2000 Edition published by the Western Fire Chiefs Association and the California Building Standards Commission with errata, together with those portions of the Uniform Fire Code, 2000 edition, including Appendix chapters I-C, II-A, II-B, II-C, II-F, II-I, II-J, III-A, III-C, III-D, IV-A, the "Uniform Fire Code Standards, 1997 Edition" published by the Western Fire Chiefs Association, not included in the 2001 California Fire Code as modified and amended by the County of Kern by Chapter 17.32 of the Code of Ordinances of the County of Kern are adopted by this reference into this chapter, except as to any reference or provisions in Chapter 17.32 relating to the use or sale of safe and sane fireworks as those that are defined in the Delano Municipal Code. In addition, any reference to Kern County Development Standards in Section 17.32.120 shall mean the City of Delano Development Standards, and any reference in Sections 17.32.030 and 17.32.035 shall mean the appeals board designated by the Delano City Council.
