§ 14.02.010. Building Valuation Chart adopted for reference purposes only.

    The city, having adopted uniform codes to govern the operation of the inspection, certification and supervision of building construction within the city, it becomes necessary for the efficient administration of the codes that the community development director adopt a building valuation for the purposes of setting valuation to the properties which are being constructed, and recommends that the Building Valuation Chart appearing in the annual March-April issue of the Building Standards is a fair, uniform and reliable guide, and be adopted for use by the city.

    B.

    The chart shall become effective annually on July 1st, and shall be posted in the office of the community development department and shall be used for reference and guide in applying uniform construction costs valuation to buildings within the city. The values therein set forth are for reference only and shall not be binding on the community development department.
