§ 13.04.100. Water service termination.

If any fee, rate or charge should become delinquent the city may terminate water services to the property or premises pursuant to the process and procedures set forth in Public Utility Code Section 10010.1, as currently enacted or substantially amended. The consumer shall be responsible and liable to the city in any action by the city in any court of competent jurisdiction for the amount of all such rates, charges or fees as may be due and unpaid, together with penalties and costs of collection including but not limited to reasonable attorney fees. No change in ownership or occupancy shall affect the application of this chapter.
