§ 13.04.074. Service connection fees.

A.

Customers desiring a water service connection or water meter shall file a written application for water service upon a form provided by the finance department, and shall pay the fees adopted by a resolution of the city council to defray the cost of installation of a new water service connection or changes to the size of an existing connection.

B.

Consumers requiring extra curb stops and appurtenances to the water system in order to provide for special connections, shall be required to pay the actual costs of the above appurtenances plus cost of labor for installation.

C.

Developers of regular or minor subdivisions who provide for the installation of water connections as a part of the improvement agreement with the city, will not be required to pay an additional service connection fee.
