C.

The above fines and penalty schedule is based on a single violation per citation. For multiple violations on any citation, an additional nine dollars and fifty cents penalty per violation shall be charged to the violator. Penalties remitted are separate from the ticket sign-off fees charged by the city as established by city resolution.

D.

In the event fines and penalties are amended by the State of California, the chief of police, or his designee, shall be authorized to amend such fines and penalties contained within this section as may be required to comply with such changes by the State of California, without approval of the city council.

E.

For those sections of the Vehicle Code or this Code regarding the standing or parking of vehicles which are not listed in subsections A or B, the parking penalty for violation of those sections shall be thirty-five dollars and if the fine is not paid as specified in this chapter, a late payment penalty of five dollars shall be added to the parking penalty.
